Mary | 1 comments Hi! My daughter is 14 with dyslexia and is very resistant to reading. Over the summer I'd like her to read 20 min a day and I would love to provide her with a lot of different books to chose from (graphic novels, romance, poetry, novellas etc) Any recommendations?
Thanks so much!

Reagan | 12 comments I don’t have any specific book recommendations, but you might want to try having them listen to audiobooks.

I agree that it could be very useful to ask your local librarian!!! I am not sure what types of books would be good at that age, sorry!

amanda frekot | 38 comments Have you tried graphic novels? Or audiobooks

audrey (completely gone rn) my suggestion would be audiobooks or graphic novels! if you want her to try a higher level of book such as like YA fantasy i definitely suggest audiobooks because it’s more complicated than middle grade but graphic novels also seem like a good idea!
