Mukohda reaches the city of Dolen. His three gluttonous familiars want to battle the dungeon there. Dora, the pixie dragon, is in trouble when the dragon loving guild master starts to drool over him in over-excitement.

This series is fun to read and i laughed out loud more than once.

Mandy (djinnia) | 657 comments 86 - Eighty-Six is a book where the Alba have discriminated against all the Colorata (yes, it is as it sounds plain effing bigotry) and took their rights as citizens away. They can get it back if they fight on the front lines against automated machines from a country that has already fallen.

The mfc handles a group of so called 86 in battle. She and a few other Alba are against the bigotry, but their voices are silenced by the majority.

What got me the most is that the reporters all said, 'no humans died today.'

despite being fantasy/scifi the message was very clear and it struck home pretty hard. I found it very relevant especially now when many freedoms are threatened.

The first book in the new Star Trek series. Pike is lost on a planet that does not allow advanced technology to exist. The Enterprise needs to find her captain and discover the secrets behind this mysterious planet.

I found this an pretty good book. I haven't read a Star Trek book in 15 years, but I love the series and it was on sale. I enjoyed it.

It's told in four perspectives of Pike, Uhura, No. 1, and Spock. Their story lines converge as the story progresses, which I liked.
