Michael A. | 3 comments Hi all!

I was just on holiday promoting my first book, In His Image Finding Truth in a World of False Identities...

In the vibrant city of Medellín, Colombia, amidst the celebratory atmosphere of my birthday, an unexpected encounter unfolded that left a profound impact on me.

As I sat in the dentist's office, skepticism lingered in my mind. The smiles seemed too perfect, the ambiance too foreign. But as the Colombian coffee kicked in and the assistant called out my name, a sense of wonder washed over me.

I was greeted by Dr. Alejandra, a charming dentist whose captivating presence belied her professional demeanor. She introduced herself with infectious enthusiasm, and I was drawn into her aura.

As she began her examination, I couldn't help but notice her exceptional communication skills. She engaged me in casual conversation, inquiring about my life and interests. Then, the pivotal moment arrived: the question that would alter the course of our interaction.

'So, what do you do, Michael?' she asked.

Inspired by her fluency in English, I decided to share a personal anecdote. I spoke of my former life in Australia and the profound experience that had led me to write a book.

Alejandra listened intently, her eyes widening with interest. As I recounted the miraculous intervention of a Christian friend who prayed for my safety during a life-threatening accident, tears began to well up in her eyes.

'I, too, was in a bad accident recently,' she whispered, her voice trembling.

In that moment, the distance between us dissolved. We shared an intimate understanding of the fragility of life and the possibility of divine intervention. As she fought back the tears, Alejandra confided in me her belief in a higher purpose for her life.

We continued our conversation, exchanging stories and perspectives on spirituality, faith, and the interconnectedness of all things. The walls of the dentist's office seemed to vanish, replaced by a profound connection.

As I left the office that day, I carried with me not only a clean bill of dental health but also a renewed sense of hope and a conviction that even in the most mundane settings, extraordinary encounters can ignite our hearts and inspire us to live with purpose.

This, my brothers and sisters, is the heart of why I wrote 'In His Image' – a story that I believe will resonate with you.

I hope to hear from you!

What did you think of the late Dr. Michael Heisner's book Unseen Realm? I presume you have read Angels: What the Bible Really Says About God's Heavenly Host...

Cheers!

First of all, it took me two years to read the book Unseen Realm. From a scholarly point of view, I found it quite interesting and educational. However, some of the terms he used were not simple to understand, which is why it took me two years to finish reading it. Additionally, I was still studying at university, but now I have finished and graduated.

I finished reading Angels not long ago. Oh, I received your book in the mail, and it came in pristine condition. Your book will be a breather apart from all those other books I read.

Love and Joy,
AT
