hello friends! im looking for a book i read in high school about an island where boys were sent. i remember humans were having trouble finding food so i believe it was dystopian. the dad gambled and won two boxes of ammo which he used to get his son sent to the island. there, the boys were fed one can of food per day. the protagonist befriends a boy with long hair who turns out to be a girl, her mom used to "work" on the island so one of the guards tried taking advantage of the girl. i remember all the boys became friends and instead of fighting over the cans of food they mixed them all together to share. they said it tasted bad but it was nice to share. another (weird) memory i have is that they used lighters to make their farts blow fire lol. any help is greatly appreciated!
