I feel like that but with friendships. I am the type of friend that is always listening to your problems, your day, your situations but I am never listened to. I am the type of friend that post your picture on an IG story for your birthday buy you birthday gifts and enjoy making you happy. Sadly most of the times that is not reciprocated. I do have to admit that maybe I don't open myself much but almost 26 years of keeping to myself, it's hard to put yourself out there.
