gotta say The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Powerless by Lauren Roberts which were both shockingly intriguing and pleasant.
There are definitely no 5 star books that were published this year, but several older books that deserve 5 stars like "Dancing at the Harvest Moon" by K. C. McKinnon, Strange Fits of Passion" by Anita Shreve, "In a dry Season" by Peter Robinson, "The Olive Farm" volume 1 by Carol Drinkwater, "No Time for Goodbye" by Linwood Barclay, "Plum Island" by Nelson DeMille and definitely the four novels "Winter Solstice", "The Shell Seekers", "September" and "Coming Home" by Rosamunde Pilcher. They don't write such wonderful books any more...
