My history with Katee Robert's books has been mixed, but I enjoyed this monster novella. It's low on conflict, but high on sweetness.

Weird and sweet, that's what we strive for.
A romance between a nerdy paleontologist and a dinosaur shifter who likes to be the little spoon. Wacky and fun.

Hey, ladies, so I feel decent about what all I got read today thanks to all of you posting! 'tIt was hit and miss with the internet so if Heather hadn't posted when she did I wouldn't have been able to download my books because we went to Zion National Park so I couldn't get the internet up there. So thank goodness and thank you EVERYONE for all of your hard work and time you put into looking up the page counts!!! :)

I loved the setting of this and the descriptions of Australia. Jeremiah and Tully are perfectly imperfect together. I loved both of their characters and their excitement for storm chasing. Tully's interest began due to his fun times with his dad when they'd go to the Kakadu National Park every year. Jeremiahs's interest had more to do with lightening but we find out the reason for that later in the book. The "strike lightening" together as their relationship grows. BUT there was a cliffhanger so now I need book 2. lol

The cover of this book was NOT inviting to me...so bloody that I was afraid it would have no real plot or character development. I was wrong, it did have both but the plot was pretty much centered around blood. Yuck! And the MC, Shara, Queen of Knight's story had too many contradictions and there was a lot of repetition, so those were both distracting. I just couldn't get past a 3-star rating.

This was a short, sweet, fun, and unexpected read with lots of twists and turns I did not expect. I loved Dimitri's and Brook's relationship and I especially loved Dimitri who exhibited so many wonderful qualities. I especially loved how supportive he was of Brook. This was book #8 in a series which normally I am reluctant to read a book so late in a series, but thankfully this worked as a standalone too (on MPG) so I was thankful it worked out for me and I will likely start with book 1 at some point and get into this series.
We didn't get back to our room until 10:45 and it was a LONG day! I did not mark any of my books as read on Goodreads yet because I don't think we should because others will find our books and use them. I'll post mine here until tomorrow night and then I'll mark them all on Goodreads and in the correct thread. Plus I'll probably add short reviews, but I'm just too tired tonight.

(Yeah, I haven't marked any of my books as 'read' either.)
♏Vanessa♏ wrote: "Ok, only managed 4 books today, but tomorrow will aim much higher."I finished my 4th last night and then started reading the next one in bed. I'll finish that one this morning. I'm ready for this to be the Day of Many Books!
I finished quite a few and did some audiobooks while cleaning. Will get back to just reading after we eat. I will most probably post 6 h or 5 hours before midnight as that is my 6 am
Well done Darkness. Should we post our completions here first so we can check each others for mistakes?
- this one for those listening, it's only 5h25m but the page count is 309. If you read at speed it can take less than 2h. it's a rh and pretty light
Everyone can start putting your books in the main thread. Kat may start checking some now. Especially if you have a lot of books. I am sure Vanessa you have a lot. I have checked Heathers from last night but not anyone else's.
April wrote: "Everyone can start putting your books in the main thread. Kat may start checking some now. Especially if you have a lot of books. I am sure Vanessa you have a lot. I think I'll start posting in our main thread in the early evening. That way I'm not waiting until the last minute, but it also doesn't give the other teams as much time to copy our books.
Is there a countdown clock anywhere? And does Kat have any rules about posting books, waiting until later, etc.?

I'm going to go through all the teams and look at the page counts for their books. It's a fast way to get accurate Kindle page counts since Kat has already okayed them.
Of course if it's your book then you can't reread it during this challenge.
Here are the books from our group:
Girl, Serpent, Thorn (Darkness)
A Strange Hymn (Vanessa)
Be with Me (Vanessa)
Love Hacked (Heather)
I'll go through the rest of the teams and will post any books I find!
