Alyssa Hi everyone. I'm a long time lurker, first time poster, so please be gentle.

I read this book around 12 years ago, from my primary school library. I am pretty sure it was part of a series, and had a lot of pink on the cover (e.g. Roses?).

I can't remember a lot of the plot, but it was a children/teen fantasy type novel about a young girl who has to find baby faeries. I think the babies correlate to flowers and/or gemstones??

The one solid thing I remember from the story is a fleeting mention of the character Jenny Greenteeth, who bites the protagonist on the hand (it swells up and I think something pops out of it).

I'm sorry, I know there isn't much to go on here, but I really can't remember anything else about the series. I've tried googling about a million times, to no avail and the more I think about it, the more it's playing on my mind. I would love to get some closure here.

Thank you in advance!

Tab (tabbrown) | 5084 comments Another guess: Fairy Diaries: Rebecca's Quest by Louise Bradley

Here is the Google Books description:
"Rebecca does not consider herself special until she is drawn into Fairyland as a Fairy Finder needed to help the Light Fairies save both Fairyland and the human realm from the evil empress of the Shadow Fairy Court."

There is a colorful cover of the book; you can see it on Google books

There is a Jenny Greenteeth in Wee Free Men but her part in the story doesn't match what the OP describes, but it is a really great read.

Alyssa Tab - you got it! Fairy Diaries is it, I'm fairly certain.

Thank you both so much!

Rose (sazinata) | 1 comments I joined this group just to find this book, after months (or possibly years?) of fruitless google searches - it turns out all I had to do was search 'fairy' in this group and I'd find a link to this thread on the first page of results! so glad I'm not the only one who read this as a child and wanted to find it again!
