I asked for more information.
(I'm not a librarian yet, but assistent)

The person who requested the book never responded on a question.

# 16 + 17 + 26: replied / asked questions
# 18 > 22 = done
# 24 & 25 = done by Emmy
# 23 & 27: nothing to add to your message, following it now
(@ Olga, yes, that is indeed what the 'afge-' part of 'afgehandeld' means! You wizard with languages =D)

Are librarians able to add missing ISBNs? This book only has ISBN10.

See also: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
In the linked record (post #33) the isbn10 was wrongly entered into the isbn13-field.
There's also a duplicate record, see here:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
I'll ask Support to merge the two.

That's very unfortunate. It looks like neither you, nor the person from GR Support who did the merge, took the first* essential step in merging a duplicate edition, which is separating the duplicate and its merge target from the other editions.
(See manual: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/..., scroll down to How to merge two identical editions)
(*There is a second essential step, see 4b and 5)
The duplicate Dutch edition is now merged into the default English edition, instead of into the matching valid Dutch edition.

I was under the impression that Support would also take care of the necessary separation of the two duplicate records as well as the recombining of the kept record after the successful merge....
It shouldn't be necessary that we - simple librarians - need explain staff which steps are to be taken when asking to merge two duplicate records when this can't be done by ourselves due to too many shelvings and/or existing ISBN's or ASIN in the record that is to be merged.
Edited to add the following
I've written Support
I'm sorry having to revert to this subject.
This morning I discovered that I've been reprimanded by a Dutch Superlibrarian for not having made the necessary preparation by separating the two duplicate records prior to the requested merge.
See this topic ( https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... ), post #35. I replied per post #36.
I would appreciate your comment.

"Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and our apologies for the frustration caused with this. I have passed this feedback to the appropriate team for future training and improvements."
