Hi, I've been a Librarian for a while but I've been out of it for a bit. I'd love to help fulfill these requests, but I'm not sure how the system in this thread works. Could someone bring me up to speed? Thanks in advance!
This is sort of an inventory of open topics from the folder Adding New Books & Editions and merely contains the links to the relative posts that concern Dutch and Flemish languaged requests.Similar topics exist here for many other languages (see also here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...).
Librarians and librarian assistents can scroll through the folder Adding New Books and whenever they come across an outstanding request in the specified language, they can put the link in the appropriate language folder. This way librarians who have that language as their native language or are familiar with it, ánd are familiar with the acceptable local sources of information, can pick up those request, handle these and move them to the [Closed] folder, marking them as [Done] by checking the tiny box just below the comment field.
Any pending requests where a librarian asked for more information and that have remained without response for longer than a month, can also be moved to the [Closed] folder with the comment:
Archiving due to non-response within a month. Please feel welcome to add a new request if you'd still like this book to be added.

That's great Sophie! I think Emmy shared all the info you need. Whenever you've handled one or multiple in this thread, please share the numbers of the ones you've done or skipped, so that the other librarians can continue where you stopped.
