Damn, I am flying through this book. I want to savor it but it's too damn good.

Is anyone else bothered by the kindle version when the Quasing are speaking to their humans? Seem to remember in the other two books those parts would be in italics but it's not in this one. Kinda throws me off a bit

It took a bit but I got used to it. It's pretty weird they stumbled on that part

Well I picked a terrible place for this section to end..

I have so much I want to do this weekend between this, Daredevil, WoW and Netflix DVDs.

Plus actual things I *should* get done this weekend..

Things are finally picking up. You've got Roen off on mission with Marco.

And the Genjix/Jake attacking the farmhouse with Cameron and Alex who knows where. Looks like Scott was right about the traitor. No idea who it was.

It looks like they left a note in Korean. Is that a good clue? If so it doesn't help me. lol.

And I don't trust Alex's Quasing at all. Especially after what she said to Tao. Not sure about her. I'd like to think she likes Cameron because they are having a similar experience..but she could simply be acting on orders to get close to him.

Roen/Marco ended up being some of my favorite parts

I think someone said it in the previous threads but I really like how we're getting little snippets of the ten years that we missed and also more insight into the Quasing with each chapter intro

I forgot how the villains in this series are pretty moustache-twirly. Not my favorite thing but I'm still enjoying the book. I thought Cameron would annoy me more but he's not. Which is good.

I don't mustache twirling from time to time. In this case they remind me of cultists. They drank the Genjix kool aid and are blind in their devotion to "the Holy Ones".

I'm hoping Alex shows some more depth to them, being still pretty young and maybe not fully indoctrinated yet.

We've seen that her father at least cares more about her than anything else, including himself and the Quasings.
