I don't know about large installments like this, but I'm releasing a serial novel on Wattpad and my blog, approximately 250 words/daily. It's still early, so I don't know how it'll work, but that's what I'm trying!

I read a book recently... and I was glad I'd downloaded it for free... that I knew was fairly short, but I wasn't expecting to be left, not only with a cliff-hanger, but the prospect of paying a lot more than I normally would for an eBook... I read a lot... to find out what happened next. I still don't know and I never will; I felt cheated.
On another occasion I paid 99c for a book of short stories. They were so good I did buy a novel by the same author. The short stories had been used as "a taster", but the writer was up-front about it. I thought that was a good sales pitch.
