Help finding a book

Hi! I've been looking for this book for 3-ish years now and I've lost my mind looking for it. If anyone knows ANY BOOK this could be PLEASE tell me.

Okay so the book starts with this character falling to earth and like only knowing he came from a different world/universe. The character lays there as a police officer walks over to him. The boy goes to a foster home kinda thing and cause trouble by doing something to another kid in the house. Little memory gap here. He becomes of a cult like thing he forms at school with some kids. He gets in trouble at school a lot. The cult like group is like "We'll take you home (Character Name)!" and then they go to back to his world. It ends with main character returning to the world he rules and (possibly) on of his friends joins him.

The book is meant for grades 3-6 kind of and it was in a Canadian school so it was probably scholastic.

I think it might be Last Kids on Earth by Max Bralier? Maybe Idk it just sounds like it. Hope this helps!
