It's been a couple days, so I'm bumping the thread.
Done: Temporada de huracanesPlease note that while I followed the steps given by Support, it did not move the ASIN to the newly created edition. This edition is in Deleted status due to the merge, retaining the ASIN as a unique identifier that cannot be used again.

For anyone who wants the TLDR summary:
- I’m trying to write up a thread for book cleanup when I notice an issue with Spanish editions of the book. There is an older edition and a newer ACE, and the older edition has the ISBNs and ASIN. Goodreads policy is that the newest ACE gets the ISBNs/ASIN.
- I send a message to Goodreads Support asking them to move the ISBNs and ASIN. They move the ISBNs but not the ASIN.
- I send a follow-up message asking if they can move the ASIN. They say they are unable to.
- I post the above thread to inform Goodreads staff member Jaclyn about the issue of being unable to move ASINs when dealing with ACEs, and how having information for one edition split across two isn’t great for Goodreads. She says that being unable to move ASINs is a part of Goodreads now, and to move the ASIN to the new ACE, the following steps need to be taken by a librarian:
1. Create a new ACE from the older edition that still has the ASIN, which will move the ASIN to the newly-created edition
2. Merge the ACE that has the ISBNs with the ACE that has the ASINs so that they can become one edition with both ISBNs and ASIN.
Since the already-existing new ACE has been shelved 5 times, I think this is an issue for superlibrarians. Please let me know if I’m incorrect and I’ll move the thread. The books to deal with and the steps to take are as follows:
