Based on the votes that were cast on our BOTM poll, in June we're reading How to Solve Your Own Murder by Kristen Perrin! Thank you for the suggestions and for casting your votes in the poll. And if you didn't get a chance to participate in the selection for June, stay tuned, we'll be back with a new selection for July!

Please use this thread to discuss the book, while making sure to mark spoilers and stay friendly and respectful at all times.

At the end of the month, 10 points will be awarded for everyone who read the book and discussed it here!

Happy reading!

Fiona | 3813 comments I'll be busy with two week-long challenges at the same time in the first week of June but will start this book right after that and I'm so excited!!

Elena Alexandrescu | 782 comments Good luck with the challenges, Fiona! I'm a bit behind on some other books that I've started for a while now, so I first want to finish those before starting another one.

Fiona | 3813 comments Thanks! I wish this book would fit the challenges so I could read it now.
Enjoy finishing the other books :)

Nistha | 2808 comments About 60% done and I am quite enjoying it so far. Its a fun who-dun-it and I am trying not to guess (to have the aha moment hopefully) at the end haha. Its a very nice setting with interesting/distinct characters.

Elena Alexandrescu | 782 comments I'm having a hard time with the audio book for this one, I restarted it already twice and I cannot follow it. I'll just drop it and try the ebook version of it. Hopefully that will work better

I always have a hard time guessing anyway. I can mostly tell who didn't do it but who did it in the end? No idea lol

Nistha | 2808 comments I finished and I quite enjoyed this one! Like 3.5 stars .. I normally don't like cozies that much as not a lot at stake but this one was well-written. The characters were interesting. Though the ending wasn't aha (which is expected from cozies) (view spoiler) It was a nice one!

Fiona | 3813 comments Lol I just noticed that I never gave my final thoughts because I was so busy

I feel the same as you Nistha, except that I really love cozies :D
It was a 3.5 for me as well but more leaning towards 4 stars. I really liked the scenes in which Frances was young and I love that she kept tabs on everyone.
