Aaand I totally zoomed through this one. Decent entry, though it didn't blow me away. (view spoiler)[I much preferred Xiala's & Serapio's storylines to the others--and I feel like Narapa was kinda dropped entirely in favor of Balam, who I didn't really care for at all. Even though it was interesting to see how everything came together, the past storyline didn't have the ah-ha! wow! moments that a good past storyline does. Rather, I was just kind of annoyed at him for being so... ambitious and cold and dumb, and felt kind of cheated by the non-climactic climax. The ending was sweet... but almost too easy. (hide spoiler)]
