I read a fantasy book during the pandemic 2020-2022 it was a series and in the first chapter their is a world building history. A young child finds a hole/ rip in the world into a more lavish world. In his world he is a hunter and he doesn't want to hunt. His father looks down on him. He escapes and lives in the new world with his mother and comes across fae people. He is an elf (I think). He gets lost and can't find the original place he lived. Anyone know the name of the book
