Alexandra Olsson | 2 comments Hello,

I recently noticed that this edition of Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...) and some of his other standalone books, such as Tress of the Emerald Sea, are listed as books in "The Cosmere" series.

However, the Cosmere is not a book series; it’s the world where many of Sanderson’s series take place (such as The Stormlight Archive and The Mistborn Trilogy).

Shouldn't the standalone books be listed separately since they are not part of a series, even though they share the same universe as some of Sanderson's series?

I'm not familiar with this series, but the series note indicates that these books are connected by an overarching story.

Here are some other examples of books from different series, but also part of a wider universe:

https://www.goodreads.com/series/2225...
https://www.goodreads.com/series/3090...

Since I'm not familiar with this series, I will defer to those librarians, and there have been many over the years, who are actively maintaining this series.
