I'll start!

I went to Alaska to watch the Northern Lights and it was one of the most spectacular things I’ve ever seen.

Alastair Boocock I watched the lunar eclipse here in June 2001 https://www.theguardian.com/science/2... on the seafront in Plymouth, Southwest England. I remember the temperature dropping rapidly and light fading around us as the moon covered the sun. We could see street lights come on in a wave from down the coast in Cornwall which is further to the west. I noticed a feeling of fear amongst the large crowd as it was reminding us of the power of nature, beyond us human beings. There was a loud cheer as the sun slowly reappeared. This anecdote reminds me of Klara and the Sun that I especially like by Kazuo Ishiguro🌞
