[BWF] The Mapmaker’s Apprentice by C J Archer – 4 Stars

This is the second instalment in this fast-paced mystery series. Matt and India go undercover as a married couple to try to find a missing apprentice mapmaker. As they move further along with their investigation, the plots they uncover become more and more sinister, and they soon find a link between the Mapmaker and Watchmaker Guilds. This story kept my attention so much that I read this within one day, and I really liked seeing the developing relationships between the characters. Whilst there is a hint to a future romance, it was not the main point to the book, and I hope it won’t be the main point moving forward. This was a very entertaining read, and I am looking forward to reading more in this series.
