I think I’d rather babysit kids than eat pecan pie 😅 (if that’s telling lol)
Theoretically, I do, too, but then you meet them and they’re all sticky and whiny, and crying about this and that 😅

I’m generalizing, but I think most men don’t like kids until they become a father.

Zeus was right. Another reason women are bad for us 😞
(I’m SO kidding 😂)
But in one of the Greek myths Zeus says he’s going to curse mankind and so invents women 😅 somewhere in Hesiod’s Theogony I think

(I was wrong. It’s in The Works and Days. Zeus says (of the first woman), “I shall give them in payment for fire an evil which all shall take to their hearts with delight, an evil to love and embrace.”)
Yeah, when you study the classics you encounter a lot of misogyny. Like, Aristotle thought women were ‘defective men.’ I kid you not. That was his explanation for why some are born men and some are born women 😅)
Another reason Romans didn’t like Christianity was b/c men and women were made equals.

(Yeah, take that Christian men who think that women are supposed to be submissive)
I know what passage of Scripture you’re alluding to. Those guys forget in that chapter Paul says (in reference to husband and wives) to “submit TO EACH OTHER out of reverence for Christ”
Like, it was considered socially okay (by the Romans) for husbands to cheat on their wives, but it was ‘infidelity’ if a woman did so. Early Christian bishops, like Ambrose taught that it’s wrong for both men and women to have extra-marital affairs. Romans didn’t like that 😅

Please don’t get mad or offended by this I’m just going by the Bible

FT: The M and I have pretty much complete opposites viewpoints, but I still think she’s an amazing and funny person 😊
