the bookhas many twists and turns, i read i many years ago, and re read it recently.
loved it
the movies not so much, they seem to focus on the fighting and not the story line
I'm about halfway through God Emperor of Dune and so far it feels pretty slow and I don't get all the (view spoiler)

I'm just a couple chapters into Heretics. But I didn't really get it either in this one except as a way to highlight the risks of not being able to move on or let go of the past?
With Herbert, I don't exclude that there is some hidden meaning in everything Leto does. I'm just exasperated that there are too few tips as to what these meanings are. I feel a bit disappointed that I don't get to find out this particular thing in God Emperor.
I do enjoy the dialogues in this book though.
It is exasperating at times. I'm wondering if Chapterhouse wraps it all up nicely? But I somehow doubt it ;P
