SOLVED. Children's Picture Book that has what appears to be a black and white chihuahua on the cover with very large ears. I believe it was also a series and one of them was set in Paris? [s]

I saw this book on display at my local library several years ago. I had a dog that looked almost identical to the little illustrated dog on the cover. I thought it would be a good birthday present for one of my nieces and that's why I've been trying to hunt it down. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I'm not sure if it's the Skippy Jones series. The style of illustration is somewhat similar but it was definitely a black and white dog on the cover. Thanks for trying to help, I appreciate it!
