The UK edition is called 'Maureen Fry and the Angel of the North'; possibly a reference to the statue of the same name in the north of England, but I assume it relates to Kate and/or Queenie who help Maureen to attain her catharsis? I wonder why this title didn't make it across the Atlantic ... maybe religious connotations?
