I'll start!

I broke my ankle wakeboarding the week before I went to college. I was placed in a room on the third floor of my dorm building so I had to hop up and down the stairs on one foot. One day, as I was jumping up the stairs I met a guy who offered to carry me up (I declined - stranger danger haha). We ended up chatting and discovering that he was also a competitive wakeboarder and became friends. He is now my husband :)

Meghan Nightshade | 267 comments I just thought of another one.

I saw this girl in my Science class reading Dance Of Thieves, and it was lying in a way that could snap the spine, I got so scared of it breaking, that I walked over with a ripped piece of paper, and set it in the book. I said, "Careful how you set your book down, setting it like that can break the spine." And she said, "Oh my gosh! Thank you! I didn't have a bookmark, sorry!"
And then the next day she had the next one, and I asked if Dance Of Thieves was any good, and she was like, "Oh yeah! It's great! I can lend it to you if you want."
Not even 5 months later, we're best friends.

Congratulations on your first book - that's wonderful! And I love the story about how you met your best friend! Thanks so much for sharing. :)
