(For future reference: is it okay to ask the superlibrarians to do the combining too, so that the whole task is complete at once, or is it preferred when the librarians just ask for the merge and then do the combining themselves?)

Personally speaking, I prefer that requests include a recombination target if such exists. Otherwise, I go look for it myself. But that's just me.
