"What's the difference between me and you? We both kill people..." She said softly and looked down.

She frowned a bit. "Is it bad that I do?" She asked. "I'm pretty sure others don't right?"
"But, I..." She sighed and lowered her head. "I guess I don't want to be heartless and everything. I'm not that kind of person."
"I know, but I'm not going to be heartless despite what people say about me." She said frowning.
She followed behind him and moved to the side so she could get ahead, but some of the rocks around her feel under her feet. She quickly stepped back before she tumbled down a step hill and bumped into Judd.
She nodded a bit. "Yeah." She sighed and looked back at him. He was pretty close to her. She coughed and stepped back from him. "Okay let's keep going."
She nodded and walked with him. She was quiet and was watching the trees. "This reminds me when me and my father went hunting."
She took his silence as a bad thing, so she didn't say anything as they walked. She heard a branch crack somewhere in the forest and stopped for a moment.
"What do you think it is?" She asked as she quickly walked again.
"You should of told me that. I could have gotten a knife or something." She mumbled crossing her arms.
"Thought so." She said. Looking down at her arm as he nudged it. Then looked at him. "You are a big softy on the inside." She smirked at him.
"You laughed too! Oh this is great!" She laughed as well. "Plus, it's good that you do have a soft side." She looked at him.
"And there's the Judd I've been seeing a lot." She said glancing away. "I wasn't planning on telling anyone. I'll probably record it and give them visual prove."
She followed behind him and looks at his back. Whenever the wind blew she could see some of the tattoos.
She looked at him and nodded. "Yeah. I guess." She said looking down. She grabbed onto his shirt slightly as they walked.
She looks at his hand. "Uh, okay..." She takes his hand and starts to walk with him like that. 'Maybe he does like me.' She thought.
She saw that and sighed. 'I guess he likes me as a person.' She thought. But looked down at his hands as they walked.
She was caught off guard when he pushed her to the ground. She moved on her back and saw him pull the gun out. "What are you doing?!"
She looked at the gun. 'I'll have to trust him.' She thought. She nodded. "Alright."
'Did they know we were here?' She thought back to when she saw movement in the bushes. "They were hiding." She whispered. She slowly got up and looked around. She saw some gun shots. 'I'll just shoot from above.' She looked around and then started to climb a tree.
She watched as another bullet hit the bullet, making it go off course. She grabbed a branch and swung up with ease. She saw another guy approach and shot him in the head. "How many are there?"
She nodded and hoped down from the branch, landing in front of him. "Who are these people?" She asked looking at them.
"How did they find out all the way out here?" She asked moving a body over with her foot.
She frowned slightly. "Did you know any of these people?"
She gave him his gun back and lowered her shoulders. "Let's start to head back."
She followed behind him and went back to holding his hand.
"No." She said shaking her head slightly. "Were you?" She asked.
"Oh. I guess so." She looked down at her hand. "Thank you."
"Saving and protecting me. That bullet would have killed me honestly." She said looking at him and smiling.
"I was trying to get above ground so I can take out more guys." She said. "I helped you take one down."
"Twenty huh?" She sighed. "How didn't we notice before?" She asked.
She was about to grab for it again, but saw the house. She let her hand hang as they walked quietly there.
She followed him without meaning to. "You're not wondering who sent them?"
She quickly walked out and stood at the doorframe. "I'm just saying. Maybe if you took them out it would be easier."
She sighed and was debating if she should enter or not. "Fine whatever..." She wanted him for a moment before walking away.
She smiled a bit when she heard the tiredness in his tone. "Good night Judd." She walked to the couch and laid down.
She didn't sleep for the good portion of the night until she forced herself to go to sleep.
Kara slowly woke up in the morning and stretched. She saw Judd wasn't awake and went to his room. She smiled a bit when she saw him.
She walked into the room and looked at his back. She gripped her hand. 'Calm down.' She thought.
She blinked a bit and then tapped him. "Hey. Wake up."
She kept her head down to get the knife as furthest as she could from her throat. "Nice job, but wrong person."
She rolled away on the bed and sat up on it. "I didn't know you would do that!" She said rubbing her throat.
She grabbed a pillow and threw it at him. She was still on the bed and messing up the sheets. "Why did you sleep with a knife too?!"
She grabbed the pillow before it hit her face. "I guess, but it's sort of freaky to know that." She mumbled. Then smirked. "You know your bed is pretty soft." She laid down on it. "I'm going back to sleep."
"Okay. I'll try not to." She said smiling a bit as she was laying next to him. 'Okay he comments I'm in the room, but doesn't do anything when I'm in the bed?' She thought.
She moved a bit so she was at the opposite side of the bed. "There. So you can stop moving around."
She sighs. "Your welcome." She said. 'He doesn't like me.' She thought.
She rolled around and faced him. She opened her mouth to say something, but didn't in the end.
She shakes her head. "Never mind. I don't want to say it." She said rolling back so her back was to him.
"It's nothing." She said moving back. Then stopped herself. "I was just going to say that I want to be here for you. Like, whenever we need help we can go to each other." She said softly.
