Yes, it is important to know before going for it that this book is only the first part of duet, in a way that it's only half of the story, you need to read both books to finish it. If you're not prepared for that, it can be very frustrating. That being said, the story doesn't feel like it was dragged out on purpose just to make two books, it is more like a double whammy of a very good thing.

This one, I don't remember if it's part one or two, I think it's in part one, has one of my all time favorite scenes, with the main couple (view spoiler). Love that since it plays right into my favorite personal kink :-). Hate that nowadays everyone has what's basically a mobile video recording device with them, which is basically the only thing holding me back on that account.
But the scene I loved the most in the whole book I think, is I believe in part two, (view spoiler)

A lot of my GR friends who joined on here are into darker stuff, meaning this one would be great for them (at least I think so), but I'm afraid that (almost) none of them know about this at all, since there was no newsletter to announce it, and no polls to pick it. (AFAIK they're not looking at group pages randomly unless somehow invited).

You know what never seems to amaze me - how often in the books people throw their helmets on the ground. Which could render them possibly unsafe i.e. unusable. But the authors obviously don't know that.

She's totally screwed - bank is chasing her legally, and the shady characters keep popping out offering her to pay up the debt by working for them as a stripper... Way for a parent to ruin your life. She was in her twenties when that happened, now, 20y later, she's still messed up because of it.

Yes, she did that bankruptcy thing but it was a whole mess and it lasted years, leaving her with no possessions. And every now and then something still pops up.
The shady guys, when it became really bad, it was taken care of, actually it was me that asked certain people to let them know they better back off. But still, they know her, she's on their radar, and it's not pleasant.

Putting the most interesting scene as a first chapter and then repeating it later on. It's an interesting technique and it works.

This is an older MC/Biker short story with mixed reviews over the years. It is also a book that has a cliffhanger *throws your kindle at me* Feel free to skip this one, if it is a good book though, we will buddy read this book.
