'DREX is spelled out, as though he wants someone to see his name before his fist connects.'Maybe that's why he did it?
So people know who's beating the shit out of them. 🤣🤣

Probably cause the scene is so short. But I can see how it could backfire if you're not skilled.

Still not good enough excuse in my book.

True. Usually other things are tattooed there.

I was just thinking "took her long enough to find out."
I knew it since i can remember.
Still, somewhere till high school I used to try and pretend to be more normal than I was. Then I said to hell with it, why should I? It was liberating AF.
Another thing I never understood - male nipple piercings on straight guys.(And my husband has one. At least he had one since before we got together up until recently, he had to take it out since some wild tissue started growing around, it happens sometimes.)

Agreed. Though I still think it's those straight laced people who are freaks. If you get my meaning.

Other than my ears I never had the urge to pierce other body parts.
And I hear the stories about piercing but WTF, no. Getting my ears pierced was enough I won't pierce other body parts.
I think it depends on a persons love of pain 🤣
Hell, I'm 64 now and don't even wear my earrings anymore.
I won't tell you what my husband wanted me to get pierced 🤣
And I said Hell to the Fuck NO

Yea, I totally do. They're strange AF to me, but apparently we're in minority.
Eleven wrote: "Yea, I totally do. They're strange AF to me, but apparently we're in minority.."That's what they want us to believe!
And when I was young I did.
But now, I call BS!
They are the minority. I swear their like the government and very 'Cult' ish.
They are the freaks!

LOL I can imagine.
My husband had no such ideas with piercings on me, only on himself. Thankfully, he was limited by what he could pierce - his (and mine) favorite appendage, it was hell no, since he wouldn't be able to use it properly for months of recovery time. Which, needless to say, was a hard pass. Visible piercings were another no, since they're just a vulnerability waiting to happen - ever seen one pulled off a guy in a fight? Not pretty. That's how he came up with nipple piercing.

Hope you're right that they're the minority. Then there's still hope for this world :-).
On page 36 this doesn't read right. They don’t look the way I expected. I guess I expected fake bimbos with boobs spilling out of their tops and gum hanging out of their mouths.
Shouldn't it say Fake Boobs not Fake Bimbos 🤣🤣
How can you be a fake Bimbo?
Eleven wrote: "Debra wrote: "Eleven wrote: "Another thing I never understood - male nipple piercings on straight guys.(And my husband has one. At least he had one since before we got together up until recently,..."
I've seen them ripped out of ears etc.
It's nasty! Stiches are always involved! And nothing is the same after that.

Fake bimbos are probably bimbos with fake everything, boobs lips and the whole package.
But yeah, taken literally it would probably be somebody pretending to be a bimbo which is just wrong in this context :-).

It never amazes me how far the human tissue can stretch before it breaks. It's like in a cartoon. Surreal.
Have a friend with only one nostril now. Due to piercing.

I don't know about you, but I'm never put off when I find what you could consider normal amount of typos and mistakes in a book. Indie authors can't afford editors.
What bothers me a bit more are logical mistakes.
Massive editing errors gets me. No matter what type they are.I've seen just as many in big publisher books as Indie author books.
But come on, there is Spell check ffs. And editing apps for free.
Use them if you are an author no matter if Indie or not.

It's quite surprising (and not in a good way) when I find mistakes in regular publishers books. They have the whole machinery, they should be able to catch it.
Eleven wrote: "It's quite surprising (and not in a good way) when I find mistakes in regular publishers books. They have the whole machinery, they should be able to catch it.."Agreed. They pay those publishers to have 'Professional' editors to clean up their books. Then end up with tons of typos and other problems just sitting there.
I'd be massively pissed if it was me.
How are you enjoying the book so far? I'm somewhere in the middle of chapter 12, and it seems just enough time has passed since I read it last that I can enjoy it properly again.
I just made it to chapter 11.So far it's pretty interesting and decent pace.
Though I'm amazed with his 'Stamina' 🤣😉

Ooops brb
Oh, I meant to say I'm curious what the deal is with Benny of the Hell Breathers and her dad. Obviously something interesting and involving Drex's club.

I used to love going with him when we are buying for the auctions. Now I hate it. But our days of dealing with auction shit are slowly counting down.
Eleven wrote: "In the meantime, I hit chapter 15 :-)."
And now I'm at least or about 4 chapters behind you.

Cool.
As you said, RL goes on
Chapter 12 page 54'I’ve not even made peace with being Drex’s whor—um… I mean… toy.'
Yeah, I think in this case 'Toy' definitely sounds better than whore 😄😉
One problem with this is it needs more 'Story' and less sex scenes.I haven't even hit the half way mark and they're about to get down & dirty again. This makes at least the 3rd or 4th time in about 60 pages.
Eve and Drex are not making a great impression on me. Though I did like the sex scene at the bar.
But their thoughts and some other things are.... 🤔🤔 A bit annoying.

I think it's appropriate since she's basically his (view spoiler), meaning sex is the only way they're building their relationship through in the start. It would be unrealistic if emotions were involved at this stage. That's why this book kinda goes backwards sexwise, from more to less.
Yay, my favorite bar/strip club sex scene. Hot AF. Tho, now that I'm reading it again, I'm wondering why he would go through such an effort to hide his cock. Bikers are usually not on the shy side. But I think I get it, it's a control thing, he doesn't want everybody knowing his business.
It's interesting that Drex doesn't want to kiss. Kind of like some sex workers refuse that additional intimacy, trying to keep something for themselves.
Debra wrote: "Eve and Drex are not making a great impression on me. Though I did like the sex scene at the bar.

Ah, I see what you mean about them being annoying, you're probably referring to her childish pouting and ignoring fit instead of speaking her mind. And his stupidity at not getting the obvious and becoming childish in turn. But I (at least partially) justify it by remembering that they're fairly young and she's probably a bit drunk already, not to mention thrust into a deep end where she doesn't know how to swim.

That will allow me to catch up to you."

It depends.
Sometimes it works and sometimes not.
It's actually risky but in this case it does work.
