madelyn:) | 145 comments ive been seeing a lot more hype about fantasy books (not that there wasn't already a lot before, but it's been surrounding me a lot more). i want to try them but it's hard for me to get into it. (i have a tendency to abandon books i dont like lol) any tips for getting into the genre?

♡Haphazardly-E♡ (Elm's Version) (haphazardlye) start with YA or Middlegrade! sometimes it helps to start with a Fantasy set in modern day that way you don't have to learn as much languge starting out and are learing with the mc! :]

Leila | 11 comments I suggest starting off with singular books that aren't part of a series if you often abandon books, because the plots are spread across multiple books and tend to be slower-paced :) Also I recommend looking for fantasy books that include sub-genres that you are interested in, like romance or adventure

☆ srihita ☆ | 27 comments i would start with percy jackson. it’s the book that got me into fantasy so many years ago, and probably the best book series i have ever read. ever.
