An interesting start to a series with a surprise dragon in the story! I gave this 4 stars because you can't give half with GR, so I rounded up to be generous. I liked the characters but I would have liked to see a little more interaction of the romance redevelopment with the MCs. I'll continue because next is the dragon's story!

Of course I loved this book! I do have to say I felt disconnected because it had been so long since I had read book 3, but once I got a chapter or so into it, that went away. I I feel like there is more story to tell with the boys - I know we get some of it in the Innkeeper Chronicles, but I would have loved reading their stories! Anyway, other than wishing for more George and Jack, I was happy with how things tidied up with this series.

For the most part, I really loved this book. There was a point a little past midway where I started to feel like it was going to go too long in the "i'm not good enough for her/he could never love someone like me" drama... but the author pulled it out just in time! I enjoyed watching Jenn find her backbone and herself and Cletus was just fun. Great story and I understand they have their own little spin-off, so that's exciting!

Loved this instalment, however, if you're new to this series please start at the beginning not this one which is #11.

Evan, is the main shifter in this one, a flawed wolf learning to be part of the pack again. We meet nearly everyone again, so that was fun.

Just waiting on Ani, the teenage polar bear to come and stay with the pack and also the alpha pairs' new baby will make an appearance in the next book, Bard.

This is an excellent series, looking forward to the next one.

I've seen this book around Goodreads, so thought I'd give it a try.

The Four Horsemen, of mythic fame, create the apocalypse, just by being themselves. Planes fall out of the sky, the internet no longer works, electricity is hit or miss etc etc. Then they disappear.

Five years later, when people are just getting used to oil lanterns, Pestilence reappears, spreading the Fever, which doesn't have a cure, and only takes a couple of days to die from.

Sara, a firefighter, draws the short straw, in Whistler, to try to kill Pestilence when he rides through the town. He's immortal, but she doesn't die trying.

The rest is a slow burn romance (view spoiler)[ with emotional therapy at every step for both of them. (hide spoiler)]

Really enjoyed this one and will read the rest of the series, eventually.

Mercy gets with Adam and this does not solve everything. They are still a work in progress and the pack is not happy but they are also working through issues. Trouble always finds Mercy and she is deep into Fae troubles. She is looking for someone while others are looking for her because of a item she has and shouldn't. This book is different from the first two so maybe it will be different going forward.

First in a new series for Gini Koch with a new partner Bebe Bayliss.

Stacie is a stuntwoman in LA, having been trained by her adoptive father, Gil, the best stuntman in the business.

Raymond Wong, is the bad guy in the movie, his father a top cop in Hong Kong. He's been trained in all the martial arts, and has done his share of stuntwork in HK.

Things start going wrong on the movie, suicide, snakes, murder, car chases, and no one is sure who the intended target/s are.

Detective "Big Jake" Underwood, tries to get Stacie & Ray to back off, but it looks like the cops are going to arrest Gil, so she's all in to solve the case.

This story has a delightful group of characters, not least the pets, the kids, Gramps and I'm looking forward to the next instalment.
