I have these books checked out or on hold May TBRI have something for everything, plus extras so maybe check my list if you need some ideas.
Starting off with Americanos, Apple Pies, and Art Thieves to just go down the list :D

It should, but maybe use this cover instead to make 100% sure; https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

I can do that. Thank you.
Do I put my name on the list or does someone else?
Saskia wrote: "Will this work for CAT?Catching Fire"Yep! the last way to count is when it's IN the title in the correct order
"OR with one book with the entire word, in the right order, in the title:
Sword Catcher
= (sword) CAT(cher)"

You're welcome
You can!

okay cool, I'll do cat then!
With the spreadsheet, are we filling in what we plan to use our current read for or are we filling it in as we post the reviews?
well i can't just start Catching Fire without reading the first https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... if the first one counts for anything lol, ill bereading both either way
i could also maybe do road if The Woman Who Met Her Match this book cover works for it? i forgot i even had that book let alone still need to read it!
Ashley W wrote: "With the spreadsheet, are we filling in what we plan to use our current read for or are we filling it in as we post the reviews?"I'd do what you have planned for like the next 2wks. Last time we did a challenge like this we did two boards in the month so think we can aim to do 2wks for a board (or close to it)

Saskia wrote: "i could also maybe do road if The Woman Who Met Her Match this book cover works for it? i forgot i even had that book let alone still need to read it!"Eh, i'd ask a mod about that cover, idk for sure if i'd say it's a road but maybe they're lenient
Saskia wrote: "Are we adding out own names to the spreadsheet? I’m super confused"Yes add your name under the word if you want to claim the whole word, just click the down arrow and your name should be there to pick.
Or if you only have a book that can work for a letter, you can put you name next to the letter of whatever word you want to work on or any free word that no one else has claimed.
If it's a book like The Hunger Games that doesn't work cover/word wise, you'd have to pick a letter instead. Since i'm not sure what words will be hard to come by, if you finish it super fast, we might want to wait to post it/assign it to something first.
I'll figure out a way to add "Banked" books to the spreadsheet so they don't get lost.
We want to clear the board, so the spreadsheet is to help make sure we are covering the whole board and not just reading 10 books for "apple" and nothing else.

okay well i've added my name claiming cat for the book catching fire, I will be reading the hunger games which is the first one either way so I guess I can always add that at the end if that letter is needed!
I'm also currently reading Verity is V is needed, however i don't think it is
Saskia wrote: "Brooke wrote: "Saskia wrote: "Are we adding out own names to the spreadsheet? I’m super confused"Yes add your name under the word if you want to claim the whole word, just click the down arrow an..."
You can use any letter in the title/series name/author’s name
Checking in. Have to finish
first - halfway there - but have got books to cover most words in full. I'll try to remember to add onto the spreadsheet when I get the chance.
Brooke wrote: "Hope this works; https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...Let me know!"
Great idea. Would it be better to claim the word when we post a review - just as some will naturally read faster than others. Also, can you post the link to the spreadsheet on the first message, otherwise it gets hard to find.
I claimed "CLOUD" AND " SLEEP" in the google docs, for this first week im doing a ACOTAR re read and I'm also reading doctor sleep <3
These are the books I have planned for May. Let me know if you would like to buddy-read any of these.Fantasy:

Thats fine too, just wanted a way to make sure we were covering everything and not focusing just on "easy" words or whatever
Hi everyone, it looks like this challenge and the reserve claiming might be a be too much for what I can keep up with this month and trying to track a spreadsheet, so I will just post my books without claiming anything for the bonus and if someone else can chose where to work it that is great. This is going to be a very hectic month for me and that much structure is too much stress and I will not often have time nor way to check the spreadsheet. I can also let Sarah know to keep an eye out for a any waitlist people that want to read and they can then take my place.
Jamie wrote: "Hi everyone, it looks like we are claiming entire words for multiple books at once and that is going to be too hectic for what I can keep up with this month and trying to track a spreadsheet, so I ..."I didn't want to make anything hectic or give others stress. :(
@BrookeYou didn't. It is very much a me thing right now.
I have A LOT on my plate this month where I almost didn't even sign up. I work at a school and just lost my assistant right before the annual inventory, and with that, assemblies (I learned of 3 more just today), a book fair and general end of the year chaos I will be working double time and won't be able to check an SS from work, and trying to figure out who is claiming what words (or even letters) well in advance, will eat into more time than I feel I can fairly give right now.
So my only way to do this is a bit more on-the-fly and I don't want to step on toes by posting something someone else has pre-claimed for later in the month. Plus trying to commit to spelling out an entire word for being a mood reader isn't too easy lol.
So, yeah, it is a me issue that I don't want to become a stress point is all. No stress yet. I just don't know if it would be preferred to others for me to withdraw if another can take my place, or just post without claiming a letter so I don't worry about taking someone else's spot.
My book
will cover the entire word. Not only is the word BEAR in the title but there is an actual BEAR on the cover. Also this book I'll be starting tonight too will cover the entire word because there is a gravestone on the cover
I finished my book for the Gravestone. I'm also reading a book called NYPD Red 4 where do I put that when I'm done with it?
I took M- author F. N (first name) James
O- author L.N (last name) Patterson
N-NYPD Red 4 (book)
K
E- NYPD Red 4
Y-NYPD Red 4
Is that what I do? I can change anything that isn't correct. I will have another book that has a K unless someone else can fill the spot for K
Actually the book has 2 authors
The 2nd author has a K in his name. That will work for Monkey right. I only needed to K
Okay I was confused...LOL. I understand now I'm still going to take Monkey because I decided to add
I'm starting it right now and I hope to be done in a couple hours
Away overnight so will update reviews when I get back. Have finished a book we can count for ‘sleep’ first time round and almost finished one for ‘skating’.
