Graham | 6 comments I've always been fascinated by books that kind of explore human or human-like intelligence in unusual situations and how they would resolve them - the Bobiverse books We Are Legion (We Are Bob) explored a human upload that had experienced long stretches in time and how every copy ends up slightly different. the Culture series The Hydrogen Sonata has hyperintelligent AIs that have simulations of entire worlds and countless lives inside them, with one book covering an AI comprised of multiple mind uploads organized in a military hierarchy. The Archangel Project Archangel Down explored androids that slowly gained self awareness and understanding over the course of the novels.

So like books like that

Aleksander | 129 comments The Archive Undying is centered around AI, but in a way that I have never seen done. It asks a lot of questions about reality and humanity and choice. It truly is a unique and fascinating plot/concept/setting
