Meredith | 1827 comments I had a road trip today and I was able to listen to a big chunk of the audio book. I am liking it a lot and enjoying both MCs and their stories. Lots of great characters and fun and interesting interactions among them.

CBRetriever | 6363 comments I loved this book - it was very fairy tale-esque and the characters rang true.

DivaDiane SM | 3737 comments I plan to pick this up and listen to it fairly soon, just as soon as I get through another book.

Allison Hurd | 14263 comments I listened to this and I think I wish I'd read it instead. The narrators did not help, but I was a bit surprised that I didn't resonate with the characters as much.

Like with Elatsoe though I love how loving this family is, and how romantic love was not at all on display here. It was very sweet and refreshing. I also really liked the mythology component and thought that was handled nicely. I'm excited to compare it with how the Bible is handled in LW&tW
