A Creepy Biography book, author wrote about a man whose name and most the things same as him. And both were gone missing at the same mountain peak

A book was written about a man who shares the same name and birthday with the author. Both the author and the man went missing after visiting the same mountain peak. The author went to his friend's place to write a book peacefully. There was also a library near the cafe. He started to write this from there. But one day he found an interesting book about a man whose name, birthday and many things were the same as the writer. He was shocked. The writer went to his friend to know this in detail. He came to know from his friend that the man was missing after went to the mountain peak. And so the writer was. This is a part of the book. This was written on the library computer. The book was published by the author's friends who work at a cafe. I saw a video about it on YouTube 1.5 years ago but cannot recall the book's title or the author's name.

Don’t know if this will be helpful, but it reminds me of an Unsolved Mysteries segment about Keith Reinhard and Tom Young. Both went missing on the same mountain. Keith was writing a book about Tom when he disappeared. Tom was found dead, Keith was never found. There is a documentary being made called Dark Side of the Mountain. Maybe it was based on a book?
