Should I Read Kingdom of the Wicked?

I'm in the mood for dark romantasy but have seen mixed reviews on this one. I want to give it a try, so what do you think? No spoilers, please!

Yes! It wasn’t one of my favorites, but it was a fun series and is a great adventure!

it's very predictable and cringey at times, but not necessarily unenjoyable. the second book is... something else but I think the trilogy closes nicely :)

I read it and there are some scenes that were cringy and weird but I liked to read it. It’s just not my favorite

I also wanted to read it because people kept telling me how great it is . The first book was pretty good, but starting from the second one, the action tends to focus more on romance and less on the world building (which is extremely important in the context!). I don't even want to buy the third book, I'll maybe borrow it from a friend just to see how it ends.
