[Steeplechase Earth Day Mini] Ice Planet Barbarians by Ruby Dixon - 2.5 stars

Green alien intergalactic white slave traders kidnapped young earth females, only to deposit them temporarily on an ice planet. Determined to survive and escape somehow, one of the young women sets out to find life and sustenance, only to encounter a seven foot tall blue humanoid male alien who seems determined to mate with her, though [r]eally, for a big barbarian, he’s being the perfect gentleman. Yes, this is alien barbarian smut, folks. It actually has an interesting premise, strong characters, a few excellent and imaginative plot points and amusing dialogue. It also starts very dark, disturbing, and violent, though that is not the tone throughout. This was the first and a set up for what seems to be a series with 20 or more books and short stories. Will I read more? Probably not but I won't say never. I do like the species survival and outer space adventure aspects of the story. The smut's not bad either.
