Sarah | 3915 comments I completely forgot to get on here! I really really enjoyed this book. A full five stars from me. I was honestly surprised that an eco-thriller could be so very riveting. I do think that it was a stretch calling it Sci-Fi. It was science with a genetically modified organism at the end of the book. There was a lot of this that was difficult for me since the Chemistry that I took in high school 20 years ago wasn't really up to the task. I also am not familiar with eco fights on that level. It was interesting because he said something several times about how he couldn't get a real job or he just happened into that job... I can't remember exactly what but he worked freaking hard! It was mind blowing!

It took me awhile to even realize this was written in the 80's. It definitely seemed like something that could be happening now. I was quite confused at first because I couldn't figure out where he got his authority. He kept talking about shutting places down and it took me awhile to understand.

What a book!

I'm about 1/2 of the way through and this mc is very unlikeable to me. I am getting a great review of the scientific process though.

I'm not hating it. I just don't like this character. Ugh.
