I found Book 1 very overhyped, book 2 was better already, but this is a series I abandoned after book 4 (though 3 & 4 were really good) b/c there was too much wait & I didn't care to read book 5. By now I simply lost interest

I do think Sarah J Maas did a super job at making ACOTAR change from a 3 stars to 4-5 with her endings but This is her first series. I should know better. But I went on a buying spree and bought ALL her books and then was getting totally into audio and then purchased all her books that way too. OOPS! Thats alright I'm gonna soft DNF and try again later, I am still on the hype of the last handful of books I read this weekend. All were really good.

Apparently I've read the first 4 of the series but I honestly can't remember them... I wasn't blown away but that is true of me and most romantasy (although I should have learnt from the fact that I don't generally like YA books now and grew out of reading them when I was about 13).
