In the meantime, I'm going to be infuriated on her messed-up behalf.

If no one picks up I will read

I am sorry I don't understand what you are trying to do.

On line 99 of the SS under the FOOD column, it won't allow me to add anything to that cell. I got the others, SHELTER, WEAPON & DEFENSE, but I couldn't add to FOOD so something is wrong there.
Currently row 99 is one of Lauri's books. What was the title in the row causing problems?
Sorry I updated the SS before checking here.
Sorry I updated the SS before checking here.

This is the only SS I have open and added it to, the only SS I have saved. On this one: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
But it's not on either one now!
Ah that's because I've shifted it over to the main SS this evening and put it in for another resource piles.
If you ever can't find something, you can try take off the filter on column B and it will probably reappear.

It's there. I am so sorry to all of you for always needing something, it seems. I'll try to remember the filter next time, because I'm sure there will be. lol
It's not a problem at all, and is part of why we are here! Especially since one of the reasons for your confusion is that we move and hide things.

Mine is currently acceptable but not great. Don't have an enormous amount of enthusiasm to sit and read it unfortunately.

It's a set of self-reflective interviews, not a straightforward Memoir, but it was honest and touching and beautifully written. I love this guy even more now with warts and all. 🥰

I love him so THANKS for the suggestion! I'll def add that to my TBR :)
I'm with Lauri - working on the Mark Lawrence BOM and really enjoyed The Familiar - Bardugo is so good with complicated characters and a dark tone.

It was a thriller and I don't like them in general, but here I was mostly bored by the cliched writing/characters and storyline. There was nothing here that hadn't been done before and done much better, I guess.

That's always a bit of a pain when you have to finish a book and it's just dragging. But well done on getting it finished!

I could NEVER do that!!! How do you want to read the book if you already know the ending? That's just impossible for me to do. It's the not knowing and the suspense that keeps me going.

I know this was a delayed response, but I see your message now. It wasn't exactly a great find. I had it planned for a buddy read so I just got lucky with the book letters we needed. But I'll take it because some of them are SO hard to find! lol

I'm with Marty on this: sometimes I need to know the ending to bother with a book and I don't mind spoilers in general. :))

I saw the book at the library a few days ago on the "quick reads" section (have to return in 7 days), and went by this morning and it was still there, so picked it up. Yay!

Cool! I might need to try that as the wait for anything digital will be too long for Book Games. Hope you're feeling better too :)

Funny Story isn't available at my library and I'm cheap when it comes to buying books so I'll be giving this one a miss.

Thanks Mel! That's right on the timings.

And it's a good thing that I did read the last page, otherwise I wouldn't have stuck to it. Oof, another slog. Returning back to the other two I have started.

I resubscribed to Peacock so I could watch any sport I wanted. So far, I've watched the men's qualifiers for gymnastics, women's water polo, men's soccer and rowing. I'm currently watching women's beach volleyball. In short, not getting much reading done at the moment!
