District 7

@Marty, one of your books #3 can go in the first wall. I'll put mine for MPG Historical Fiction instead and change the code for yours, too.

If someone could give us credit for BOM…
Thank you kindly!

The 'problem' we've got is definitely a good one to have.
At the moment we've got a wall from 1-8 and another run of 12-19.
As I see it was have a couple of options:
1. Find books to make a run of 1-24: this is probably the highest effort option but I have confidence we can do it if you all want.
2. Make a chain of either 12-18 or 13-19 and another of either 0-7 or 1-8 as lower series numbers come up more often.

That's good, b/c there is still one unclaimed Horror task, the code is S39. :)
I added the code to your book and also listed the alternative MPGs (Thriller, Mystery, Paranormal).

If you list here or on the sheet your books, we can check them together and come up with solutions. :)
For MPG we've got:
2 nature
2 literary fiction
1 science fiction
1 contemporary
1 paranormal
Left unclaimed so if your books work for any of those, we can slot them in.
Sounds like Maritza has the contemporary slot filled too.

Is it advantageous to make a run of from 1-24? If so, I think we should do that, as we certainly have the flexible reading power.
If not, well I support whatever we decide, of course. As a bookaholic, I have books of every conceivable series number and am happy to read any of them. And I'm also ok with letting others read for walls, tasks. I'll still be reading stuff either way.
Or....are walls stronger with higher number series? Hmm....that's probably a horrible thing to suggest.

So long as we have 3 walls with 8 books and a window book each then what numbers we use doesn't matter at all.
Oh and if anyone wants to read a 5, 13, 16 or 17 to replace mine please say! Getting them all done is likely to be a bit tight for me.

I'm happy to back you up on any of those. If you'd like, we can just wait and see what you need as time goes on. Otherwise, just feel free to choose one :)

Sounds good! I'm going to add a few more suggestions to the form, I have a lot of 20+ books in the Sharon McCone series that can be used.
ETA, I saw that we need a #4 for Wall 2. I'll add one.
Wonderful!
Please remember to use the mini code from column B to fill in the mini sheet. If you type directly into the box the tracking through from the main Round sheet breaks.

Missed that step, sorry.
@Suzanne, only if you want to!

My Keeper book will keep for later. :)

Melinda, you are like the best juggler of large book tasks that I've ever seen!

So I can re-read HP #4 which I haven't read Goblet of fire in 2 years now. That would give a good page count. Or I can read one more literary fiction because I always have an endless supply of those with me. But it will possibly be a lower page count as I tend to read them a bit slower because of the genre.
Let me know what works best for the team and I will go with it.

no #4 book is needed any more. :)
Among MPGs we need
1 Natur
1 Science Fiction
1 Paranormal
2 Literary Fiction
You aren't driving me mad at all Mel! I'm happy for my Catching Fire to be taken out completely, then you can shuffle yours. We've then got an unclaimed Door task and Ushashi can read for #4 if she wants to, or someone else can fill it in.
If we don't get a taker for the door, mine can always go back in later.

hope I'm not driving our Captains crazy with my "brilliant" suggestions. :D"
:)))

No worries don't stress to much. Read another book you want :)

I'm not too keen on reading my Keeper book just yet, so if you are reading Catching Fire anyway, it can cover the door book. :)

I was just getting into the book and would like to finish.

There you can to enter the Mini task ref number in Column N and the Reason in Column O and it will autofill the data on the Mini tab. :)

I was holding the last chapter to finish today, so that's finished and I'll add it in there later.

Okey dokey! I can take Paranormal with Watchers - halfway done.
And #5 with Network Effect & #6 with A Midwinter's Tail for sure! Can't add them till I get home though...

Seems like the "problem" we have is a lot of options - so many willing book readers. Pretty lucky!
