No one needs to wait for any other battle book reader. :)

I thought that one was to short

Although these page counts are confusing... 🤔

I’m reading both Starling House and The Wishing Game for BOM and really enjoying them!

If you need another back-up, I can do A Kiss of Salt & Sea or The Kiss That Killed Me.

if any of you want to read Iona Iverson's Rules for Commuting, I'll pick up another book later in the battle.
Just let me know!

Not available for me (11 week hold).

Sorry I wasn't checking this thread often enough. This book also has too long of a wait time in my library. Same with the Shakespeare book. I'll try to check this one more often for the next book district 9 sends back.

D9 is reviewing a couple options now, and I expect we'll be hearing from them in the next few hours if you can pop back in then.
Everyone throws out options and weighs in on what they can read - and we want to make sure the title we send isn't too hard to overlap :)

The Vow

Oh, I also own Vows and am certainly willing to read either of the two...or not :)

ETA: and Suzanne :)
It does look like there are a few choices of books starting with vow - I suggest we give it @ 8-10 hours to see if anyone who hasn't yet claimed a book for this round's battle, finds something she wants to read.
Book 9 into the battle. Well done everyone. Let's see if we can get a response and then the final 2 books in before the deadline in 21 hours...

We’ve been having a lot of fun with our Book Battle! We’re also trying to make sure everyone gets a turn to read if they want so we get it! It’s all fun and games for sure!
We’re sending back Worth 😂

We as two teams got this done with 10ish hours to spare and technically we did start a tad earlier than originally planned. We do have to do this again and I think we generally had a good turnaround and got most members reading.
If you have any thoughts on how to improve this process please share.

Good find Stephanie! And v speedy turn around for the last few books.
I wonder if letting the people who wanted to take part but couldn't due to time zones etc have the choice of the first few books next round (Marty, Lauri, and anyone else I've forgotten (sorry)). If it takes a bit longer that's fine, because then those of us who are chronically online can speed through the later choices.

I think we all did a great job in this planning week! I would also say for next round's battle: if you happened to miss the back and forth on the thread for a particular book, but can read it during battle week, volunteer as backup for that book. Perhaps the original claimant swaps with you, or you'll be needed as backup - as we all know, life happens! :)
