half one | 2 comments Apologies if this is the wrong forum. I read this page, but didn't see any info on where posts like this should go.

https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

I am trying to add a book to my shelf. I cannot mark it read or add my review:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...

At the top it says:

"This item does not meet our catalog guidelines and can no longer be rated or reviewed."

There's a link which goes to this page:

https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...

However I cannot tell which item on that list applies to this book. I also attempted contacting support but they say that only librarians can fix this.

This is just a novel and it would be great if I could add it. Thanks!

Ronel Janse van Vuuren (miladyronel) | 19 comments I'm in the same boat: I have books I want to review, but they've been marked as not meeting the catalogue guidelines.

Please help, as these are real books, not AI nonsense or from magazines (the anthology stories are available separately, too).

gem | 2620 comments half, the following two editions you linked are "Public" status and you should be able to add/review them. Please try again and let me know if you are able to do so.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

If not, please link the exact edition you are trying to add so I can make sure it's Public.

--------------

Ronel, I restored the two books you linked to Public status. Note the book page may take a day to fully update due to site caching.

half one | 2 comments Tech support got back to me on this one--they sorted it for me. Thanks for your reply!
