The Harsh Whisper - I wrote it so I'm definitely biased, but I literally can't stop thinking about these characters and their world 😂⚡Amazon Link : https://amzn.to/4h6Rj2Z
It's got that dark fantasy + magic + tension combo that just LIVES in your head. First book in The Silent Truths Trilogy and I'm already dying to share book 2!
Also obsessed with anything Brandon Sanderson writes. That man's worldbuilding is chef's kiss 👌

The Harsh Whisper: A Gothic Romantasy Thriller
Join me on this coming Saturday at Amazon Kindle for a Wonderful Journey back to Year 987 to witness how West Francia became modern France.
The Last Carolingian: Phoenix of Francia: A Modern Scholar's Fight for Survival and a Kingdom
The Dragonbone Chair and The Witchwood Crown by Tad Williams. It's similar to LOTR, but with more political intrigue, unpredictable plot twists, and complex characters, like in ASOIAF. Besides, I like the Sith and the Norns much more than Tolkien's elves. They are truly different and psychologically alien, yet charming and wonderful (yes, even the Norns).
The Witcher books.
I'm pretty sure most people have seen the TV show based on these books. Many people have also played the games. So, there is no need to explain what they are about.
But I should note that they contain a great deal of humor and satire, at least in the original. The books satirize vile things like war and xenophobia, and I think many politicians could benefit from reading them.
Royal Bastards by Andrew Schvarts. I'm not sure why I like it so much. Maybe it's because it combines the seemingly incompatible genres of high fantasy and YA.
Chimeras of Estmer by Heather Marsh.
The book's cover is strange, but it has almost everything I like about the fantasy genre. A fascinating fictional world with different countries, cultures, and races? Check! A complex plot with unpredictable twists? Check! Great characters that don't fit into tired tropes? Check! Good writing style? Check!
These are just a few of the books I always recommend, and they're all fantasy. But I've already written too much. I think it's time to stop.

I very much like Patricia Briggs's books, too!
Percy Jackson is so good and enjoyable for readers of multiple different genres. I love it so muchShatter Me is just such a great book and one of the first books with that kind of romance that ive read, and im glad that it was cus it encouraged me to read more like it. I also love Tahereh Mafi and her writing, its hard to write a long series like Shatter Me and keep it engaging and interesting for the readers but she did it so 👏
A Court of Thorns and Roses is definitely not like the best book ever, but it's easy to understand. i feel like it's one of those books that has that complicated/advanced reader vibe, but it's rlly not, its a great book. I've only read the first one tho
The Hunger Games - no explanation needed, its just such an amazing book that lives up to the hype its gotten
Divergent is similar to the hunger games imo. ive ony read the first one but it was very intiguing and exciting
I Must Betray You is soo good. its a historical fiction, and one of the first historical fictions ive read. everyone i know whos read it would agree that its amazing. my library teacher recommended it to me and ive recommended it my friends and my english teacher also read it and loved it
I love shatter me so much too. That series is so interesting and there are lots of turning points. Easy language so a beginner can read too.I also highly recommend the Cruel prince.
