can topics be locked on goodreads?

I was on proboards, a forum website, for a while and any thread that hadn't been posted on for more than a month automatically got locked. some people could still comment via mobile but if they did it was called necroposting which was against forum rules.

does the same thing happen here?

No. I’ve posted on something that’s older than a month or even MANY months after people stopped. It’s fine. 👍
