He noticed she pulled her sleeve down and was suspicious but decided not to push her

“Uhm.. I’m not gonna make you ask, I got hurt during sword practice. A girl sliced me on a- at least I think it was- an accident.” She pulled up her sleeve to show a deep red scar, showing it wasn’t old, it was new-er.
“Dang she really got you good didn’t she? When did it happen?” He asked with concern not caring about himself at that moment because he knew no one would cut quite THAT deep on accident
“About a day ago? It was bleeding really badly. And now that I think about it she sounded really sarcastic when she apologized. It was so bad I may have passed out and Chiron had to come according to everyone else that was there”
“Wow I wish I was there to help, I’m sorry”
“It’s fine, really.”
“I’m going to clean up but maybe we can meet up later if you want”
“Campfire?” (We don’t have to move Ik u Alr have a RP going there)
(Ye let’s stay here) “sure that’s cool” he said then he ran off to clean himself up
“Ok.” She said and then walked back to her cabin
Elijah felt better after he cleaned up and talked to some of his cabin mates about what has happened lately so he decided to head down to the strawberry fields for some fresh air
When she walked into her cabin she sat down on her bed and read until the campfire
He sat in the fields calmly reading outside until the horn blew for dinner so he hurried back to his cabin to put his book away and line up
Once the horn blew for dinner she put her book down and walked with her cabin mates, gossiping on the way.
Elijah was at his table talking with his siblings about the usual stuff like books and new quests and how much they have all been practicing, but occasionally he would sneak a quick glance at Lana
Lana caught him looking at her, but she didn’t think anything of it so she went right back talking to her cabin mates about a book she was reading
“Attention everyone, there has been an issue that has lead to a quest” Chiron started in a booming voice “Lana Creek has been chosen to lead the quest please meet me in my office to get details and chose your companies, now continue with normal activities” he said everyone was supposed to be unbothered by that but everyone was quiet for the rest of dinner
Elijah ran over to Lana as she was walking to the big house and gave her a worried look “do you know what’s going on?”
“No, im scared. What if I make a mistake? Or screw up somehow? What do I do?” She said, the light in her eys faded, she was on the verge of a panic attack
“Ok… uhm… What if I come with you!” He said trying to sound like he could protect her from whatever this was, he knew he couldn’t but he was going to try
“Ok.” She said and continued walking to the big house
Elijah walked with her towards the house but he had a growing pit in his stomach, a feeling of worry because he knew when a quest was called something was seriously wrong but he didn’t let it show, she. They got to the front door Elijah held the door for Lana and walked in after her to see Mr.d on the couch
“…hi.” She said making eye contact with Mr.d and gods it was uncomfortable “sit.” He said “Chiron will be out in a minute.”
Elijah gave her a worried look then sat down next to her wondering if Mr D would notice him
Chiron came out when she sat down “as you know there has been a sudden quest. And you have been chosen to lead it. Because it has come to our attention that you are friends with- hang on. I get ahead of myself. Nymphs are going missing. And you are friends with one of the ones that have left and we don’t know where they are. Grover is freaking out because his girlfriend isn’t here.” Chiron said.
Elijah new something bad was happening but he didn’t realize it was directly affecting Lana and honestly he had no idea how she would react but he was ready to help
“…w-what do you mean? ‘She’s gone’? She can’t be.” She asked very confused
“It’s ok we will find her Lana don’t worry” he said trying to comfort her
She saw before he did how Mr.d was looking at him “ who invited you?” Mr.d asked
“Oh Uhm I just came with her I guess” he said in a slightly nervous tone
“You’ll just make things harder.” Mr.d said “Excuse me? I’m sorry you’re not going to talk to him like that.” Lana spoke up immediately. “You better shut up before-“ Mr.d started but Chiron interrupted “excuse me. Both of you need to calm down.”
Elijah smiled when Lana stood up for him but he didn’t want to say anything in front of Mr D but they needed to focus so he said “it doesn’t matter that I am here but we need information and to find these nymphs as fast as we can”
Mr.d scoffed. “We don’t have any information. Just that you need to go somewhere and help someone and make the nymphs come back.” “That doesn’t help anything. Where do we need to go?” Lana bit back at him immediately “ok. Well first things first you need to pick who’s going on this quest with you.” Chiron said. She immediately pointed at Elijah. “Him. I want him to come with me.”
“I except I will face the dangers of a quest to help the nymphs” he said maybe a little to enthusiastic but he didn’t care “wait don’t we need a third person?”
“Yeas you do. Anyone in mind?” Chiron asked “uhm… no not really.” Lana answered
“Uhm what about Nala from Zeus cabin?”
“Hm? I don’t think I know them” Lana said “but ok since i don’t have anyone else in mind.”
“Well that’s just a suggestion you don’t have-“He was cut off by Chiron saying “let’s head to the circle and decide there” as he signaled them to stand up
“Ok.” She stood up
Elijah stood up with her and slipped his hand into hers as they walked out the door
They were halfway there when anxiety and realization set in and she squeezed his hand. She looked over and smiled at him
He met her eyes as she looked toward him he knew she was terrified but that made him even more determined to protect her in every way he could so he smiled right back at her
A few minutes later they arrived. She looked around

“That’s her” he whispered into Lana’s ear and pointed at Nala
She looked over at her. She was really pretty. “She’s pretty.” She whispered back in Elijah’s ear
Ignoring Lana’s comment he waited for Lana to choose

She took in all of the campers here. “I want Nala she said pointing to her.
