I don't feel like people appreciate our generosity

Should we tell them it almost started on May 1st providing no break?

We can tell them, hopefully they'll admire our restraint.

Definitely. Have they not seen us drink tea with our little fingers sticking out as we are such refined ladies?

message 61: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 8054 comments You know, when people come home from work, and open a tasty beverage, and check GR to see what they missed, stuff like this will make said tasty beverage spew forth from places it perhaps shouldn't.

Just saying.

message 62: by Melindam (new)

Melindam | 8355 comments Jenny, please tell us that your little finger was sticking out while spewing. That makes it ladylike. ;)

message 63: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 8054 comments Of course it was! I am a delicate flower.

And I have watched all of Downton Abbey. (Except the movie.)

Because I did things very weirdly, that was the second City Watch book I read, when I stumbled upon the paperback in the supermarket. 😁

this only happens for me if I'm on chatty teams. a lot of players post completions but if I don't recognize the book I don't follow up and ask if it was good. and a lot of people don't volunteer that info, so sometimes my list grows and sometimes it doesn't.

Ive read the book, but I’m waiting for the movie to hit Streaming next month! (May 14 on Starz, what perfect timing!!) I read the initial books when they first released and the movies as well!

Me too. I get to the end of Uno, and after a few books, when my Goodreads challenge updating only takes seconds, I look around. And usually I've missed the signups for here. But this year I remembered that I will start missing it!

I just finished Red Rising, and all the Hunger Games references are making me want to hurry to the next one!

ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) | 226 comments How did you like Red Rising, Laura?

I also thought I'd be done with team challenges after Uno, but this one looks like you'll have a little more freedom/flexibility with reading. I hope! Because I'm done looking for colored covers, lol.
