It's pretty good so far. I've read The Cheat Sheet by her before and loved it! Somehow the humor in this book feels forced? but its too early to judge lol. For some reason I thought this was set in actual Rome 😂😂 but anyways...can't wait to see how this goes!
i’m liking it so far!! i think amelia and noah already have chemistry so i can’t wait to see what happens next🤭 also the townspeople literally annoyed me so she definitely wrote that part well considering that’s what they were supposed to do 🥲

hii!! sorry i didn’t update much yesterday!i performed at a spring concert which was very fun, so likewise i didn’t have a lot of time to read (at least not as much as i thought)
i did finish through chapter 10 though! are we good with doing 5 chapters a day? that seems to be what we’ve been doing haha.

the only thing i’ve been annoyed with so far is mabel. i didn’t like how when amelia asked for a room she lied and basically forced her to stay with noah for longer🫠
like what if this man had pure hatred for amelia and she’s like “oh you’re staying but i’m forcing you to stay with him”
… how do you force someone into someone else’s house💀💀 idk i just didn’t like that part
Lol exactly. I thought she was trying to set them up? Because she wanted Noah to have a girlfriend for so long but forcing them to stay together was definitely not the right way 😞I'm glad you're loving this book bb! I'm still just going with the flow and see it where it all goes.
i’m at chapter 16 now, planning to read through ch 20 today! i agree though that the kiss was unexpected. i think it would’ve been better if it was later in the book but oh well 🥲

the fact that she kissed noah’s forehead when he was drunk even though he wanted to kiss her so bad 🥹🥹 he’s such a teddy bear i love him
and the pancakes were so cute 🫠🫠 the tension between them is written so well
i feel bad for him too though🙁 he’s so sweet and wholesome so i really REALLY hope he doesn’t get too heartbroken in this book (but obviously plot is a thing💔💔)

It mentioned she was her ex-fiance. Yess..it feels like such a short book even though its 320 pages. The writing makes it pretty easy to read.

Heyy I finished the book! Sadly it didn't work out for me and I ended up giving it 2.5 stars 😭 I couldn't connect with the character at all - Noah was still bearable but Amelia was so annoying👀 And the humor too felt pretty forced.I'm hoping it works out for you though 🩷
