I belong to NetGalley so I try hard to read those before publication date.
I also try to read one or 2 each month from my TBR that I actually own.
I also like to read some of the GoodRead Choice Award nominees and winners.
I sometimes join in a buddy read in a couple of the groups I am in. It is always fun to read the same book with other people and hear their thoughts.







I usually am reading several different book at the same time. Different genres are best, but occasionally I end up with 2 that are too similar and it gets confusing.

This is exactly me LOL





I have various ways of choosing what I’m reading and several books on the go:
1) blind date pick from a wrapped pile out of my TBR jar. I number them 1-20 and use a die to pick.
2) working my way through The New Lifetime Reading Plan
3) random number generator free m my GoodReads to-reads list
4) a book from the public library pile (I am always taking books out that look like an interesting read)
5) same as #4 from the University‘s library pile
6) a book from my unread book pile that I’ve randomly pulled off my unread bookcase
7) and if one of the libraries has a current blind date promotion something I’ve chosen from there.
And I’ll cycle through the above list with
