I remember it being about a girl who falls in love with a boy who delivers dog food or cat food to her dog/cat. I remember the boy being embarrassed about driving the food truck and wanting to take her out in a nicer car. I also remember after one of the dates, she sees the boy like take a bike out of her bushes and ride away? I also remember the boy taking her out with his friends and they go to China town or something and the girl doesn't like any of the food at one of the Chinese restaurants and then she feels all inferior. I read it when I was probably 13 or younger it was a book for young girls for sure.
